Clutching
My toes clutched around each piercing rock
finding their ways into the pink portions of my
foot. The waves drawing over them caused me to
shudder and grip closer to the rock face. With
a careful step I crossed one leg in front of the
other, followed by my palm, I tested a few different
spots until I found the one that felt just right.
In that moment there was no other way to understand
that cliff, that stone formation. I couldn't just
look at it, I had to be apart of it. Journey
through it, find the hidden sculptures within
its walls tht perfectly conform to my human form
as I shaped around the cliff. The one that faced
the beach I sat at only moments ago, where I was
only a viewer, and now I am apart of it.
